Rossnowlagh Glass Picture

Our glass scene pictures are lovingly handmade using many layers of sheeted glass. Elaine begins each picture by hand drawing the scene and taking careful consideration as to what cuts and shapes will suit the glass. This view of Rossnowlagh beach is taken from the cliff/ smugglers creek looking down on the beach which lends itself to some beautiful curves of the wild atlantic ocean. Using the drawing as a template each layer of glass is handcut and then fused together in our kiln, overnight. The next day the scene is finished by adding glass beading details.

Rossnowlagh Beach is a picturesque stretch of golden sand along the Wild Atlantic Way in County Donegal, Ireland.

Bottom is signed with "Rossnowlagh"  and  'Mc Gonigle Glass studio 2024".

This is a solid wood white limed frame that subtly shows the natural grain of the wood. Outer Frame measures 26cm x 26cm. Inner Frame measures 22cm x 22cm. Frame depth 4.5. Glass art inside measures approx 11cm x 11cm
